Winter Storm Part III

Winter Storm Watch Wednesday night until early Friday...Here's our first call for snowfall from Winter Storm III. These numbers likely will be refined, but this is our starting point for totals from start to finish. Lexington and most of the area is in a 3-6 inch band by Friday. There will be mixing with sleet, freezing rain and just cold rain mainly south of the Mountain Parkway. For much of central Kentucky this looks to be a mostly snow event that begins as some very light snow Wednesday afternoon and wraps up Friday.
