The transition from meteorological winter to spring (February/March) can be a wild ride and the rest of this week is certainly trending that way. A Great Lakes low will strengthen and wrap a gusty west wind, colder air and late day rain to snow showers our way midweek. Wednesday's highs will fall from the 40s early in the day to the 30s late this afternoon. A late season Arctic cold snap follows with highs in the 30s and lows in the teens/20s Thursday through Saturday. Watch for a clipper throwing a light rain/snow mix across the Commonwealth Friday.
