(LEX 18) — LEX 18 News has obtained hours and hours of video testimony and evidence presented in the trial of Brooks Houck and Steven Lawson. They were tried and convicted in the death and disappearance of Crystal Rogers who vanished on July 3, 2015.

During the trial earlier this month, two names kept popping up throughout the testimony: Rosemary Houck, Brooks' mother and Nick Houck, his brother. Lead prosecutor Shane Young called them "unindicted co-conspirators" though neither has been charged with a crime.

A witness named Danny Singleton testified about a conversation he had with Rosemary Houck before Rogers vanished. He said she asked him if he knew anyone who could help "get rid of Crystal." Singleton worked in construction for Brooks Houck.

In closing arguments, the prosecution played an audio recording of Brooks and Rosemary talking about Nick Houck's police cruiser that was seized by the police. They discussed a blanket left in the trunk.

In another recorded conversation, played before the jury, Brooks Houck is heard telling his mother about a tip police told him they received. Someone reported they may have spotted Rogers in her car on Sunday July 5, 2015 - two days after she went missing.

Houck is heard saying, "A bad tip's jacked them all up."

Young told the jury, "How do you know it's a bad tip? He just told you it's credible. How do you know it's a bad tip?"

Young argued it's because Houck knew what happened to Crystal and that she was not going to be found.
