EKU men cancel game with Boyce; Add Transylvania

First meeting for Colonels and Pioneers since 2001

RICHMOND, Ky. — The Eastern Kentucky men's basketball team has canceled its game against Boyce College that was originally scheduled for December 10. The Colonels have already added a replacement with Transylvania visiting McBrayer Arena on Saturday, December 12.

This will be the 42nd overall meeting between the two schools but the first since 2001. EKU leads the series 28-13 and has won 14 in a row over the Pioneers.

EKU is now 2-1 on the season after Monday night's 99-96 overtime loss to Xavier on the road. The Colonels will travel again on Wednesday night for their next game at USC Upstate. Tip off is set for 5:30 and can be seen on ESPN+.
