LEXINGTON, Ky. — ESPN has taken notice of UK quarterback, Sawyer Smith.
Kentucky football didn't add Smith until summer. He transferred from Troy where he played for former UK offensive coordintor, Neal Brown.
He quickly worked his way to back-up to start the season. When Terry Wilson tore his patellar tendon against Eastern Michigan, Smith was quickly elevated to the starter. He's completed 43 of his 85 passes for 575 yards and four touchdowns. He's also thrown four interceptions and fumbled the ball away once.
