Fields Set for Saturday’s Toyota Blue Grass and Central Bank Ashland

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The fields were drawn for Saturday's Toyota Blue Grass Stakes, a prep for the Kentucky Derby and the Central Bank Ashland Stakes, a prep for the Kentucky Oaks.

Kenny McPeek, the trainer of Swiss Skydiver has decided to run his filly against the boys in the Blue Grass. She drew the 7th post position in the field of 13 and will be ridden by veteran jockey, Mike Smith. When she does make it to the race, Swiss Skydiver will become just the second filly to run in the Blue Grass since the race started back in 1937. The other was Harriet Sue who was 5th in the 1944 Blue Grass.
