BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Mid-South conference has decided to postpone fall sports to Spring of 2021. The decision was made after last week's administrative council meetings and approval by the MSC Council of Presidents.

The postponement will affect volleyball, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's soccer. The MSC will plan to go through a regular season before the championships in the spring.

While the conference schedule is adjusted, institutions are given the autonomy to play non-conference games this fall.

In football, each of the three divisions will independently determine conference play. Football covers a wide span of seven states so the individual decisions will allow divisions to play based on state and federal regulations within their geographical area. An announcement on the football schedule will come later this week once all three divisions' leaderships have met.
