RICHMOND, Ind. — The 6th ranked Transylvania women continue to roll through Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play as the Pioneers knocked off Earlham on the road, 75-42.
Transy went on a 12-0 run the first quarter and an 18-0 run in the second quarter to build a quick lead. Shelby Boyle led the way while coming close to recording a triple double. The senior guard had 24 points, 8 rebounds and a career-high 9 assists. Dasia Thornton added 12 points off the bench while Ashton Woodard chipped in with 10 points.
The Pioneers are now 19-1 overall and a perfect 13-0 in the HCAC.
Transy returns home to play Rose-Hulman on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
