LEXINGTON, Ky. — The No. 6 Transylvania women cruised to a 74-42 win over Mount St. Joseph Wednesday night to run their win total to 18 in a row.
Shelby Boyle and Zenoviah Walker led the way by scoring 15 points each. Ashton Woodard added 13 points and had 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The defense was also special as the Pioneers held their opponent to 50 points or less for the 10th time this season.
Transylvania improves to 21-1 overall and a perfect 15-0 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Pioneers have three regular season games remaining and they play again on Saturday at Manchester. Transy won the first match-up between the two teams 74-48 back on December 14.
