UK Women's Soccer loses at home to No. 7 South Carolina

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky was able to keep it close against No. 7 South Carolina but ultimately lost at home 1-0.

The Gamecocks got the only goal of the game in the 26th minute as Ryan Gareis put it in the net. Freshman goalkeeper Steph Stull was able to save five other shots from a South Carolina team that had scored 10 goals in their first four SEC Games.

Kentucky drops to 5-7-2 on the year overall. The Wildcats are now 0-5-0 in the Southeastern Conference.
