The Lexington Police Department says they are investigating a shooting that happened on Winburn Drive and McCullough Drive on Thursday morning.
According to police, when they arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say he was taken to a local hospital with reported life-threatening injuries.
According to police, there is no ongoing threat to the public, and no suspect information is available.

On Thursday, the Lexington Fire Department confirmed to LEX 18 that authorities were called to the 1800 block of Winburn Drive and McCullough Drive on a reported shooting with a victim.
LFD noted that one person was taken to an area hospital.
