Snow will fall into Tuesday morning, but a wedge of warm air should change the snow into rain at least for a while for many of us. The snowfall looks higher north and west where there will be less rain mixing in and lesser amounts south and east where there will be more rain.
By Tuesday afternoon a strong cold front will blast through and change the rain back to snow with plenty of wind and plummeting temperatures. A midday high in the mid 30's will fall rapidly back into the 20's so watch for icy spots developing later in the day.
