Man Dies In Bell County Fire

A man died in a fire in Bell County Wednesday evening. Firefighters responded to a home on Avondale Avenue in Middlesboro around 7 p.m. Bell County Coroner Jay Steele said once the fire was out, firefighters discovered the body of Melvin Ray Shackleford, 41, inside. An autopsy is pending to determine the exact cause of Shackleford's death. ...
